South African cricketer Quinton de Kock has confirmed retirement from ODIs due to the financial benefits of T20 leagues.

Quiton De Kock has been playing for South for almost 11 years. He played his last match against Australia at home.

Quinton De Kock told ESPN that he could not deny that he wanted to play for money now because he said that he was in the last stages of his career.

His other reason is to stay away from cricket. He feels that he will not be able to spend time with his family. Because of this, he had said goodbye to test cricket 2 years ago.

After the World Cup, he wants to live a normal life among people and live in harmony. He is currently part of the Lucknow team of IPL.
